Labradoodle

Anyone have anything to say good or bad about them? Thinking of getting one. Allergies are the reason for the breed choice.

I have a goldendoodle so yours would be bigger, but this still applies: prepare for a lot of grooming time and money. The fur grows fast and mats quickly so you need to either brush AND comb them regularly OR be taking them to a groomer fairly frequently. Also, I've been told most doodles are more poodle in personality than retriever so don't expect a happy go-lucky retriever necessarily!

Make sure it is at least 50% or more poodle. Mine is a golden doodle/retriever mix so he is only 25% and sheds all over. We are looking to get a Bernadoodle next year.
