The Penguins have acquired a conditional seventh-round draft pick in the 2026 NHL Draft from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for forward Rem Pitlick.
The acquisition of the pick gives the Penguins nine selections in the 2026 NHL Draft.

OK fine. Pitlick was never going to get recalled due his larger cap hit. Opens up a contract spot. Maybe they'll use it to sign Pujuljarvi?

The pick is probably conditional on Pitlick playing a bunch of NHL games. Hawks have nine players on IR currently and I think only 10 healthy forwards up.
