Game 39 vs. Flyers - Thoughts from the Morning After

Post by IntangibleBeer »

  • Pens thumped the Flyers in their building. Strong, controlled win. :fist:
  • Geno surfaced in beast mode for this game with a beautiful goal and a pretty assist.
  • Ned was calm and controlled in net, facing upwards of 40 shots.
  • Thought Graves had another solid game.
  • PP was good early and then went back to its old, bad (perimeter, over-passing) habits. Cue "Sweet Georgia Brown".
  • Harkins had a rough game.
  • Chad with his 1st goal of the season - the Chad watch is on!!
  • Pens missed some wide open nets.
  • Flyers played their typical cheap-shot game, especially in the 3rd period; from the top of the organization to their slimy fans, the Flyers are truly bottom-feeders.

If the Flyers DO NOT win the Stanley Cup, or any Canadian team for that matter, I consider it a successful hockey season. Thank you Patrick Kane.
