Official GDT: Pens vs Nucks 1/11/24
Still looking forward to Rust returning to the lineup, hope he’s not out much longer.

Ned getting the start again instead of Jarry! Must've liked what they saw against the Cryers the other night...

Ryan Malone wasn’t bad on the pre-game.

Smith for Garland might make sense as a hockey trade. Similar salaries, Garland is younger.
Back to the game. Some bad turnover by Rust in his own zone.

Come on, the ankle that buckled wasn’t the one that Sid touched and he was already off frame but the time Soucy decided to fall. Call the dive too.

Canucks get the goal due to a bad decision by Letang who aimlessly puts the puck to nobody in their end and the entire coverage on their forecheck was completely out of sorts.

Great start. Woof.
It’s great we beat up on Philly, but Vancouver is a real contender. It’ll be telling how this turns out tonight. Are the Pens for real or not?

2 back door passes, 2 goals. Might want to stop letting them pass to guys who have shots behind Ned where he has zero chance for a save.

Looks like the Pittsburgh "Elevators" (up and down, up and down) are on the down swing tonight....

Ok fellas, lets overpass, keep it on the perimeter, like the long passes and the shots with no traffic! Let's go!

Actually, this all Jimmerson’s fault. He’s.500 and the Penguins are too.
He needs to go on waivers.

Isn’t it funny how Teddy Blueger is the 3C for one of the best teams in the league , yet he couldn’t get out of his own way here the last several seasons….

It’s almost like there was one common thing across several years and dozens of different players that rewarded mediocrity in vets and punished young players when they showed some talent.
