All started with Rust taking a selfish low percentage shot that had a rebound to where the Hawks had an easy breakout with our guys trapped. Stupid decision. But I am sure it’s an option they practiced.

This feels like a tie game very shortly.

The rule for cross checking was changed Tuesday I guess because that’s two games in a row that we got called for something that wasn’t a cross check

Even the last power play in the league go down low and attack the net

Going down the drain as this Period creeps along.
Everything changed after Rust blew that opportunity.

They are really going to need that 3rd goal.

There’s probably been a handful of times this season the Hawks took it to a team like they did to the Pens that period.

Shots are tied. Only up by 1. Not much of a difference between us and Hawks these days apparently.

Doesn’t look like a team that’s going to be buyers at the deadline does it ? Lol

An embarrassing lack of effort or competence that Period.
Ned with 2-3 outstanding saves kept them up.
Graves has no business being a Top 6 D-Man.Inept.
To watch the turnovers and floating around is shameful.
To not even test a Stiff like Soderblum was inexcusable.

Well I read today that Sullivan did say something to the effect of "we need to redefine what we mean by winning" or something similar. As long they "compete hard" or something, that's a victory.

If it wasn’t for Sid, it feels like we are watching an AHL game. What a horrible game.

Maybe they can get PFF to change the way the NHL measures success because they don’t base that in reality?

How many times is a Hawk going to get behind Graves alone for a scoring chance tonight? This guy is worse than Jack Johnson in every way possible.

The fact Rakell was ever moved away from 87 should be one of the148374 reasons to fire the head coach.
