Official GDT: Pens vs Isles 2/20/24

Post by DelPen »

I would love to be wrong and that this lineup ends up working but we all know it won't work and Sullivan has no idea what he's doing anymore. The longer Vellucci doesn't ask to be let go the less I want him to remain as interim and that point was probably 6 weeks ago.

I like the 3rd line. Harkins should be out and JP in

How does Phillips get 2nd line time over Puustinen? The more I watch Sully's decisions the dumber I feel.

Malkin could rightfully ask for a trade being asked to play with OC and the new guy as his wings. What a ridiculous line.

Is Jagr in the house? He said the other night while in the booth that he might be.

The move should be to trade Guentzel and have Malkin move to Crosbys LW

Sell anything you can at this point. I want youngsters! Teens! LOL Nobody on this team will be around to enjoy our success if and when it happens.

Someone is going to sign him for more than we can afford to pay a backup next year so I expect him to get traded for something decent at the deadline assuming we are well out of the playoff picture on March 8. It would be irresponsible to not do that.

Yea. Maybe try and sign him and see what he wants before the deadline. Trade if it doesn’t make sense.

I really hope POJ works with Letang and they are given more than a period to actually see if they can.

I almost don't want to watch. But it's like a train wreck. You can't help but observe the carnage.

The only chance we have is that the Isles are garbage.

Not looking like a team with much enthusiasm 7 minutes in.
And the Isles don't look any better.

Did anyone hear if Jags attended practice again? He probably said "Eff this team, they suck and they won't listen."

Who’s more likely to score, Phillips, White, Harkins or Ned?

Well I am going to bet Phillips. Maybe Geno banks a shot off him.

Pretty sure NJ would give us a 1st and top prospect for MP at the deadline.

Terrific shift from every guy on the ice to get the Goal.
Pettersson with a quick decision and nice shot.
