I just bought Wind Waker a few days ago! I had it before, but I think I traded it in a long time ago. It's games like Wind Waker or Okami that will age well because of their unique style. I'm actually enjoying it much more than it did the first time around, even though the gameplay is still similar to the other Zelda's. The ocean setting that was originally a turn off now seems really cool.
This is why I don't know if I'm going to get a new system. To really enjoy games, you can't have too many. How else can you spend the amount of time required to get all the extras and really enjoy something? Now that I have all those SEGA and Nintendo ROMs to go with my PS2 and GameCube, I'm set. The only thing I really buy new games for now is the DS, and there hasn't been anything I've wanted in a long time. They need to bring me a new Advanced Wars!!! Best games ever...
I'm an old school NES game collector and I love them because if I need a break, but want to play a quick game, they are the way to do it.
I try to by one new game at a time usually because you are right, if you have too many, you don't anything done if you want to collect and beat 100% of the game.
I've run into that issue now because I bought Windwaker for the Gamecube last fall, started it, got a Wii, started playing those games, picked up Mario Kart, Punchout, Lego Star Wars, and Lego Batman, and now I'm in overload with two or three partially completed games.
I just need to beat one game at a time and move to the next.
I know, I'm a dork.
