Re: Odd Things You Read on Your Facebook Wall Thread
My oldest friend, who I seriously do not remember not knowing, has gotten big time into dog rescue and is taking it to a ridiculous extreme. Seriously a dozen or more posts a day, some about lost dogs the whole way across the country (she lives in Mass.)
It is really getting almost to the point of some of the religious fanatics I've seen, but I don't feel like I can turn her posts off, if something important non pet related happens I want to make sure I see it. So guess I have to keep hearing about Sadie the shih-tzu in South Carolina needing a home.

My one friend did that. She lives in Atlanta. I blocked her posts.PghSkins wrote:My oldest friend, who I seriously do not remember not knowing, has gotten big time into dog rescue and is taking it to a ridiculous extreme. I also had someone posting religious crap daily, I blocked his posts.

I have been a fan of the "only show important posts" - I dont know what merits "important" to facebook...but I don't see much annoying stuff from those annoying people you still kind of have to follow...haha

I think you can mark posts as "important" and things like relationship status changes are considered "important"... but yeah, nice feature.JeffDFD wrote:I have been a fan of the "only show important posts" - I dont know what merits "important" to facebook...but I don't see much annoying stuff from those annoying people you still kind of have to follow...haha

So I guess Tim Tebow is the poster boy for christians with an inferiority complex now. I have 2 Tebow memes on my news feed that have to do with how he is persecuted for his faith but the gay basketball player is a hero and the media is tip toeing around the fact that the boston bomber is muslim.

A girl I went to h.s with posted a pic of her daughter next to a dry erase board and something to the effect of "Only Child, expiring November 2013." Everyone got the point that she is knocked up again, but "expired" connotates that the first child is going to die. Should I call the cops?!

my wife's cousin refers to her infant nephew as her "boyfriend". even though it's light hearted or whatever, that's a little bizarre, no?

If she does it on FB, yes very much so. Although, women are different in that regard. I bet your wife and her aunt don't feel the same as you and me.shmenguin wrote:my wife's cousin refers to her infant nephew as her "boyfriend". even though it's light hearted or whatever, that's a little bizarre, no?

She forgot the word "status". Considering she forgot to use birth control too, it's not surprising. She'sTheFastest wrote:A girl I went to h.s with posted a pic of her daughter next to a dry erase board and something to the effect of "Only Child, expiring November 2013." probably a poor choice of words on that one. I'm guessing the kid will be safe.

This thread is called "Odd things you read on your facebook wall", right?DudeMan2766 wrote:I can't say I get that one?JS© wrote:Gotta love weed-wackin for 5 hours straight,by the end you like a scooby doo villain!

I'm guessing there was a big green villain on scooby doo.

or with some google searching, it seems like a bunch of the scooby villains were always covered in green.
I didn't know either. It was posted here because it was odd.

Apprently a local BW3s does not allow guns on the property. Someone took a picture of the sign on the door and said "Looks like I'll never be eating at a BW3s AGAIN!" Seriously you're that passionate about taking firearms into chicken restaurants? I'd be more concerned if they banned wet naps.

It was originally called Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck.
