Ten hours isn't too bad. Stop every couple hours for breaks, even if you don't feel like you need to.

Heading to Savannah GA for a wedding in September. Any tips in what to do when I'm there. Have a couple of things planned, obviously, but any recommedations anyone could make would be appreciated

Also if no one is riding with you, when you stop interact with people if possible even if for a couple of minutes, helps keep the mind sharp

We were in Savannah for a couple nights last spring. It's a great place to walk around and has lots of history. We also took a carriage ride, which was pretty good. Had dinner at The Olde Pink House and enjoyed that. I'm pretty sure columbia lives there, so he could give you some info I bet.

I just did this on my 12 hour drives last week. I never got bored or overly sleepy.

This sounds pretty good, for myself though i might go with a bunch of comedy concerts, Gaffigan, Chappelle Steinfeld I should download a few of these.

I've been listening through Your Mom's House podcast lately after getting caught up on Bill Burr's and the Joe Rogan experience podcasts. I am caught up through this May, so soon i'm going to need a new comedy podcast.

We did a Beatles theme for our recent trip to Chicago, it was fun, although I did throw in an Elvis cd around the 5 hr mark to split things up. If you have kids, invest in a DC to AC power inverter, saves on batteries.

Planning a weekend in Cleveland in September to catch an Indians game (eventually would like to see every ballpark). Any suggestions about what else to do. Im planning on going to the house from A Christmas Story (despite my growing dislike for that movie), taking a tour of the Great Lakes Brewery, and I'll probably end up checking out the R&R Hall of Fame. Any other suggestions?

Stay as far away from East Cleveland as possible.

If you are on a tight budget and have never been west, get a park pass ($80 last time I got one, gets everybody with you in the park), load up the car, and do that. Sure, Europe, etc sound exotic, but you can get as great of an experience in the States.

Colorado Rockies, Olympic Peninsula, Crater Lake, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, Yosemite, Moab, Yellowstone, Death Valley, Pacific Coast Highway, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Grand Canyon, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego.

You and I are absolutely on the same page King Sid. Of those places you mentioned I have been to 9 of them. Only a few more I'd like to add though. When you said Yellowstone you didn't mention Grand Teton National Park (spectacular in the fall, when the leaves change), which is about 40 miles south of Yellowstone are are affectionately known as "The American Alps", Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park on the AZ/UT border (I was in awe of this place), and Glacier National Park in NW Montana...the Going-to-the Sun Road has jaw-dropping vistas. And definately see the USofA and you keep your $ stateside first. Then you might want to try the Canadian Rockies (Banff, Jasper and the Icefields Parkway which connects those two towns and the National Parks of the same names. Finally, and this isn't cheap so you may have to save up for this one, a cruisetour of Alaska. And I consider all of these "bucket list" items.

Man I love talking about travel. I could make a post which itself would take up a whole page, but I'll spare y'all on that.

The Icefields Parkway from Lake Louise to Jasper. This video is about 10 1/2 minutes long, but if you're interested in visiting this area, it's worth a look. Incidentally, this road was used in the opening scene of the movie John Q with Denzel Washington. Watch on "Youtube"/full screen for best results.
