Facebook posts are kind of like praying out loud.count2infinity wrote:Support breast cancer by not wearing something that supports breasts... how exactly is this going to help? Re: Odd Things You Read on Your Facebook Wall Thread
Friend of mine from High School, not a close friend but a friend, has had a difficult time family wise her whole life, not in ways I would have been aware of back when I knew her. Since then, messy divorce, etc.
Found a guy she thinks is the one, moved in together and now writes these long odes to him on FB about how wonderful he is. Hello, you live together. I'm happy for you but tell him or write him a note and give me a few sentences on how happy you are... That way I can be happy for you and not feel like a voyeur when you're telling him how much you need and want him.

Nothing is worse than the "My bf/gf is so wonderful" posts, especially when it's all they can manage to spit out. What, emotionally are you 13? Good lord above.

I probably feel more dels of pain trying to have a conversation with EPP than a woman giving birth.

To paraphrase Chris Rock, "they're supposed to be wonderful. This should not be news to anybody." I probably see just as many posts on my wall too with the same thing.GSdrums87 wrote:Nothing is worse than the "My bf/gf is so wonderful" posts, especially when it's all they can manage to spit out. However I am willing to bet she had an epidural for her childbirth so....The story about the incident generated a lot of discussion among CNN.com readers who had experienced kidney stones themselves. Wrote Deaux, "I'm a mom of 4 children, and I've had 1 kidney stone. I'd rather have 4 more children than have 1 more kidney stone."

I've 2 friends that in the last couple years have had babies and did not have time for an epidural, and according to them, it actually wasn't that bad. No epidural made things move along much much quicker. Like they were done in an hour.PensFanInDC wrote:http://www.cnn.com/2013/03/11/health/ki ... index.html

So when my wife and I have kids, I can tell her .... to stop complaining about childbirth cause I've had multiple kidney stones. I bet that would go over well. HAHAHA.PensFanInDC wrote:http://www.cnn.com/2013/03/11/health/ki ... index.html

So breaking a bone is about 3 Units of Pain? And if the body can only endure 45 units, wouldn't that mean 12 units of pain are unfelt during childbirth?

That was our plan but preeclampsia forced our hand. We prepared for months to have a natural birth. Oh well, maybe the next one.bh wrote:I've 2 friends that in the last couple years have had babies and did not have time for an epidural, and according to them, it actually wasn't that bad. women can't push as effectively if they've been doped up. so a natural birth, in theory, can be quicker.bh wrote:I've 2 friends that in the last couple years have had babies and did not have time for an epidural, and according to them, it actually wasn't that bad. unless you're my wife who was in labor, without drugs, for about 23 hours.

The best part though is saying that is says one thing and totally disproves it with the next statement. Trolling women at it's finest.

Dude from work filed short term disability for being too sick to come to work. Posted the next day after filing that he was headed to the gym.
