I think that I have the ultimate in Facebook :face:
Are you ready for this?
It's pretty awful.
Finding out that a family member has only days to live from a siblings FB post.

Friends of mine have moved out to a very rural area, including a trip out a dirt road and are stunned on FB every day that they are having difficulty getting out and home.
Dear friends of mine but... It's gettin' old.

One of my friends from college merged his account with his live in girlfriend's account.
Basically, they deleted her account, and now only post stuff from his. They also changed the name from his name to "(his name) N (her name)"

^ I have a few couples on FB that do that as well.
On my end some girl I barely know has a daughter going through potty training. How do I know? Saw a posted above view photo of the training toilet and a big puddle of urine.

This new Message update is horrible. I'm sitting here looking at a 21 inch monitor and I have to scroll on this tiny ass window to read the entire message someone sent me? Yeah, there are ways to get to the full message, but making this the default without any way to change it is maddening.

One particular instance I remember had my friend posting about Penguins, Steelers, and imported beer. She posted 90 pinterest pics a day and would live update any TV show she was watching as if she was on twitter. Being that the post ratio was 10% him and 90% her, I had to unfriend.
A week later I get a friend request from this same friend/couple....denied, and I had no problem explaining why.

Nothing says you've been completely emasculated like a joint facebook account.

that's ok...it's not important that you drive safely right now. go ahead and drive and post on facebook at the same time. your kids can raise themselves

Re: Odd Things You Read on Your Facebook Wall Thread
lesson: dont post anything about work on facebook.
i have a pretty strict no-friends-with-work-people policy for various reasons. there are a few people that work at my current place of employment that used to be my peers in other locations/friends in different walks of life that are in different departments than mine. when said person posts negatively about their place of work, manager, co-workers, and posts confidential/illegal information -- not the best situation to be in.

I permanently deleted my account last week. Very liberating. I just have to be careful not to use an app that is linked to my account for 2 weeks and its gone for good.

well she then posted a pic of her on a snowy road without traffic and derisively said, "The way people drive amazes me". this is irredeemableMRandall25 wrote:Well, if traffic isn't moving, what does it hurt?

After years of holding out, Mrs. PghSkins joined FB. Now I guarantee if she doesn't "like" something I post, I'm going to hear about it later.
Mentioned today that I am going to Texas for the weekend, and it will only be 41 degrees on Friday.
"Are you trying to get our house robbed or get the kids and me kidnapped? You shouldn't tell people you're going to be away!"
Maybe I will defriend her.
