My wife had one of those back in her younger days. It was the dumbest thing. IIRC she had trouble getting it out too. Once she got it out she never replaced it.PghSkins wrote:Oh my!!!!! My nose piercing is stuck in my nose literally! It is embedded in my skin! Having one heck of a time trying to get this damn thing out of my nose! It's a corkscrew! Twisting and turning it hurts like hell! Kevin even tried to get it! Ouch!!!!!!! Finally after God knows how long: I GOT IT! Didn't have any trouble putting a straight post in because the hole is so big and the post is so skinny! I will never wear a corkscrew one again! Geez! Glad that is finally over!

The cancer Barbie is just another in the long line of complaints I've seen levied on Facebook against traditional toys. I've seen countless posts on how if Barbie was real with those proportions she wouldn't be able to stand upright. People are just looking for stuff to complain about.
Another annoying thing is that every year during the Victoria's Secret fashion show there's always a number of girls saying that the models aren't "real girls" because real girls have curves and skinny girls are terrible people for being skinny. The whole female body image war by Facebook users is rapidly getting to the unbearable point.

Somebody sign these kids up for future NPR games, they sound like a riot! While everyone struggle to wake up this morning, I hear Joey leading his little brothers in make-believe, amidst their giggles, "lets play papal schism!"

What makes this additionally aggravating about this is a lot of the women complaining about the body image thing tend to be either overweight or obese. Yes, I understand that most girls aren't Size 0s (and that's fine), but if you think your lifestyle is healthy in any way, you're wrong.pensfan1989 wrote:Another annoying thing is that every year during the Victoria's Secret fashion show there's always a number of girls saying that the models aren't "real girls" because real girls have curves and skinny girls are terrible people for being skinny. It's a genetic disease and that's really insensitive of you to ask them treat it like any other disease by altering their lifestyle to live healthy. Don't you know they can't help it and that shamrock shake and fries are a symptom, not a cause. Tsk tsk.

I might suprise my wife with a Shamrock shake tonight. She is currently mad at me and loves those. If it doesn't work, then I'm just going to start Zelda Skyward Sword and move on.

Re: Odd Things You Read on Your Facebook Wall Thread
It's been a year since one of my high school sports teammates got killed in a car wreck.
Naturally, Facebook is filled with people posting statuses (stati?) about him.
Someone messaged me and asked why I haven't posted anything about him yet

The shared recipes, home remedies etc are getting out of control on FB
1 tbsp of iodine 2% 1 cup of baby oil. Rub your hairy area with the mixture and let set for only 5 minutes. Then gently wipe away with a damp cloth. Viola!!!! NO MORE HAIR!

Re: Odd Things You Read on Your Facebook Wall Thread
I have a lady that does the exact opposite. She was always chubby and now looks sickly, sickly, sickly skinny.... its like malnurished type of stuff, and she posts pictures essentially naked with comments like "still have another 15 lbs to lose!". I wish I could show the pics / captions of how bad it is.JS© wrote:and the real girls with curves are...I'm sure I don't need to explain this one.
Anyways, last couple months she posts angry rants of tired of hearing about how real women have curves, its insulting to girls that are naturally skinny / she's a real woman too

I wonder if he'll be appearing in criminal court soon for child abuse.
