I know there is <.01% chance of it happening, but Bron to the Mavs would change me from hater to jersey owner.

Good news for them. I'm actually happy. That city has so many sports miseries, it nice to see something good come.

my wife is a casual Cleveland sports fan. She said she won't forgive Lebron for the non-sense when he left for Miami and that she doesn't think Cleveland would either. I don't agree with her on that one. That city is so starved for a championship, they'll take whatever they can get, and the best player in basketball is certainly a good start.

I think we can conclude that LeBron would trade Paul Martin. :pop:

They're probably going to trade Wiggins for Kevin Love, if you believe the rumors.

Assuming LeBron wrote that letter it's incredibly self-aware.

lol, i doubt it. They already have Irving, next is Kevin Love. Chris Bosh is likely heading to Houston unless he takes a massive paycut to follow James to Cleveland. Melo is heading to LA to play with Kobe.

Not even saying this as a joke.... I wonder how many people who bought Lebron Mia jerseys / claimed heat alliance will now go and buy a Cle jersey...

Am I the only person in the world who thinks the only thing wrong with the way Lebron left Cleveland was not telling the team before The Announcement? I don't feel like he bailed on the city or team, he extended his initial contract with the Cavs and left a chunk of money on the table (altho that may have been with an eye on Miami from the get go), and generally gave them more than he got in return.

I mean, I say that as someone with a pathological hatred of basketball. But I listen to The Herd a lot, and this has been pretty much all they've talked about all week.

I think even having the announcement was a complete joke... If he signed with Mia in a similar fashion to how he just signed with Cle, I wouldn't have had a problem with it.

lebron didn't do anything wrong other than making his decision a TV special. and it was objectively proven that leaving cleveland was the right choice. and he's only returning because it's impossible for Miami to win any more titles, and anywhere other than Cleveland would be too damaging to his image.

not saying your wife is like this, but people conveniently ignore that athletes have an obligation to take care of themselves above all else.
