If I want my beverage to taste like a Christmas tree, I'll just drink a gin and tonic.

yeah, this isn't exactly someone saying that red bull isn't made from natural juices squozen from organic fruit. most people don't expect a latte to be just filled to the brim with toxins.count2infinity wrote:I think some may not realize exactly how much junk is in any starbucks froufrou drink. It's apples and oranges to compare not knowing the crazy amounts of sugar and crap in a pumpkin spice latte vs "well, it says 100% beef patty, so it must be good for you, right?"

Not sure where to put this. I check my Linkedin every once in a while. Some kid who I went to school with but didn't personally know invited me to connect. I accepted and he literally endorsed everything on my page. Is this a common practice or is this kid just a creep?

Starbucks is tarted up fast food. I expect everything from fast food is trying to kill me.shmenguin wrote:yeah, this isn't exactly someone saying that red bull isn't made from natural juices squozen from organic fruit. most people don't expect a latte to be just filled to the brim with toxins.count2infinity wrote:I think some may not realize exactly how much junk is in any starbucks froufrou drink. They should be illegal or something. God they're so annoying. When I used to work on a go-kart track my boss was obsessed with trying to sell Ambit Energy to people. There were so many random posters up on the wall.viva la ben wrote:It seems my friends and relatives have moved on from the it works wraps to some other mlm sales pyramid.

in this context, caramel color is definitively toxic. starbucks doesn't administer it in a dose that makes it a significant cancer risk, but it is still in your latte.viva la ben wrote:There has never been a word as bastardized as toxins.

Smelling someone else's fart is probably more toxic than drinking a pot of starbucks coffee.

Youve convinced me - the caramel color therefore isn't a toxin.

Good lord, grilled marinated steak contains 4-methylimidazole. Everything could be classified as toxic in high enough doses.

facebook pushing a facts vs myths on messenger notice on the android app. Fact is it uses way too much RAM and accesses too many permissions for me to put this on my phone.

Aug 26 was National Dog Day. Why is it arbitrary to mention that and post a pic of your dog?

the day itself is arbitrary. Just read that it was "created" by an author in 2004.Hockeynut! wrote:Aug 26 was National Dog Day. Why is it arbitrary to mention that and post a pic of your dog?
