First really dumb penalty of the year after that sack giving them a first down.

Boyd rules.

Voytik to Boyd for a TD... hopefully many more connections between those two this season.

Conner wrecking people. Again... it's only Delaware, but still nice to see Pitt come out with a purpose.

Saw Jaryd Jones-Smith (god damn he's massive) in on every play for the third touchdown drive. Was he being used as an extra TE or is Bisnowaty already injured?

And that's why you don't put scrubs in to return punts. Jagoff.

Looked like a busted pinky. If so, he'll live.

Conner and the o-line deserve some extra ribs after the game.

So I read in the Tribune that some 45,000 fans were at the ketchup bottle this past Saturday, I turned on Root to see the replay and wow...I dont see it.

Just an FYI for people with young kids, they changed the rule from a kid needing a ticket 2 and over to now it being 1 and over.

I was there, and while there wasn't 45K, the crowd was half decent for a D1AA team. The student section had a great showing, filling up not only the lower deck, but the upper deck as well.

A ton of people started to either leave, or go into the great hall or concourse areas in the 2nd Quarter because it was so damn hot, and the game was already a blow out. I left at half time because my kid was pretty hot and miserable.

Man just saw Shai Mckenzie had 9 carries 106 yards. Our backfield would be ridiculous if he came. Oh well.

A friend called me at 9:30 to ask me to go. He had free club box seats. Based on the weather forecast and with everything going on on the northside. I decided against going. I would have been miserably hot by halftime and would have left being how huge a blowout the game was.

I would have loved to have gone but had prior commitments (hooray for home renovations), but a few friends who went said basically the same. Crowd wasn't bad considering the opposition and the heat, which was absolutely miserable by typical late-Aug/early-September Pittsburgh football standards. Even better, the crowd seemed to be very engaged through most of the game, too.

I'd really like to get to that Iowa, Akron and at least one of that VT/GT/Duke series to close out October.
