Pitt sending a statement going on the road early in the season, in a trap game, and coming away with an impressive win. Should be a nice confidence builder heading into the ACC schedule.
I can't tell if you're trolling, which means you nailed it shad lolol

The addition of in "a trap game" is really top-notch work by shad. Really well crafted.

I didn't watch it, but it sounds like Pitt just overcame a flukey 1st quarter

Shad gave a better effort this round. With no argument stemming from the post, the best I can give is a 4.5/10, though.

Pitt's win at BC looking pretty solid now. USC only managed 20 rushing yards.

Pretty much. Pitt drove the field on two separate occasions early on, only to have the drives sabotaged by James Conner fumbles inside the FIU 10. Conner fumbled because he was trying for extra yardage in both instances.

FIU's first TD came after a bit of a fluke play, too - a pass that got tipped from one FIU receiver to another. FIU's second TD was a good sustained drive.

After that, Pitt rattled off 26 straight points and outscored FIU 42-9. FIU's only other TD came late in the 4th while Pitt was sitting back.

It's understandable why no one cares about this fiu game.
Crowd during Revis play is very true. I wasn't at the game, but it was louder than hell on TV so I can imagine what it was like there.

Honestly I don't remember the crowd. I was so into/amazed by that play I wasn't paying attention to the crowd.

Kinder's devastating block + Revis somehow going the last 15-20 yards without stepping out were just unreal.

Something feels weird saying that a block was one of my favorite moments in Pitt football but my God he crushed both of them.

Credit where it's due, FIU took advantage of every inch we offered, and the long TD pass was a great throw & catch, and that WR was flat out faster. Our defense was pretty shaken after that.

Pitt was that team over the past few years that would routinely lose that game once they got down a few points. The fact that they rallied, and better yet James Conner responded to his mistakes to finish with 3 TD's, different team altogether. HCPC has this team winning when they should and competing every game.

The real trap... Opening - 4 against Iowa.
