I deactivated my Facebook for a few months earlier this year and it was a great decision. I only reactivated it because two of my brothers had weddings and because I need it to have a Tinder account. popBeveridge wrote:Everytime I think about creating a facebook account to keep up with friends and family, I click this thread and the voice of reason wins out. I purged my facebook "friends" list a couple years ago to be people I actually talk to. I rarely see stupid crap on my wall.

Re: Official LGP Facebook Complaint Thread
Maybe I was doing it wrong (eBay) but when I tried that about a year ago it was a PITA. Something like 4 clicks per friend to delete. Why not allow me to check everyone I want to unfriend and then click "unfriendly"?DelPen wrote:I purged my facebook "friends" list a couple years ago to be people I actually talk to. Re: Official LGP Facebook Complaint Thread
This broad...
10/10 6:14am
Awake for over an hour so I may as well get up. I'm thinking it's because I didn't want to miss the possibility of the cable guys showing up early to bury the line. Can't wait for the time change because getting up in the dark just sucks donkey balls!
Happy Frisky Friday!
10/10 8:23
If anyone has an "in" or an idea on where to find inexpensive kitchen cabinets, lemme know. Used are OK since I can refinish them if needed. Thanks!!
10/10 10:02am
Bright side about painting a closet all white: you don't have to worry about lines, blending, can slip it on, etc. Bad thing about painting a closet all white: since you're just slopping it on, it tends to get all over said painter... But at least it looks much fresher and brighter! (Me? Not so much...)
10/10 10:51am
Note to self: don't ever buy Benjamin Moore Paint! It smells like the leftover milk at the bottom of the bottle...that was found under the car seat...in the fall... After a long, hot Florida summer...
Luckily with all the windows open and three fans going, the odor goes away once it dries. Way too much money to smell like the sawdust they used to use in elementary school to cover up the puke smell (similar to the odor at Beneghettos as you walk to the bar...)
10/10 4:58pm
And with that the cable is buried, the neighbor has been chatted with, the kitchen has been primed and ceiling painted, hall closet painted and organized, more living room ceiling painted, Front door primed kitchen and bathroom faucets descaled and laundry done - I consider today a success! And the cable guy looks like he's right from the islands with some great waist length dreds and a blindingly white smile: he's been the brightest Spot to my day.
Now I think I'll make that steak I bought yesterday!
10/10 8:38pm
Amazing how a steak and mixed veggies with a couple slices of butted bread can taste so wonderful when you haven't had a home cooked meal in over 3 weeks! Glad I took the time to really clean the kitchen and get the stove in almost new shape!
— feeling accomplished.

The 6:14 am one starts out sounding like something said on the Whose Line Is It Anyway game where every sentence ends with "if you know what I mean...?"

I love when morbidly obese people post stuff like this:

Nope, you are unhealthily fat.
