I hope there is a deadline because this isn't going anywhere.

Re: *** Akallabêth ... Game Thread ***
Probably me. BigMcK got upset because I voted for him and then left for an hour, and some others followed.
As I said, a vote for me won't be satisfying but if that's what you want go for it.

What's funny is that when I am revealed as the angel either in death or at the end of the game it will still be considered a stupid claim by you people.

Why is it dumb? What's the better option? Me? Then vote for me. Nothing is stopping you. Some people might even join you and the bandwagon can shift back to me. Jumping on a bandwagon and then saying the vote is dumb "screams red to me".shafnutz05 wrote:lynch dodint

Sort of. Which game was it where I wanted to vote for you but hesitated, and you ended up burning me? That's in my mind right now. Normally I wouldn't hold a vote on you, but that move of splitting the vote really tipped me over.PensFanInDC wrote:What's funny is that when I am revealed as the angel either in death or at the end of the game it will still be considered a stupid claim by you people.
Philosophically even if you are the Angel that really kind of takes the wind out of some of the game. Though I suppose if the vote had rolled on you *and* your claim is true then the angel would've been outted anyway.
All I know is the roll is on a regular villager right now, and the village would lose two of them in the first Night/Day cycle if it keeps rolling. I have no proof other than the fact that every single time I've ever claimed blue I've been blue and, like me or not, I've been very consistent with how I play.

You could very well be the angel, I just don't believe you. Splintering the vote and dividing the village further screams red to mePensFanInDC wrote:Why is it dumb? What's the better option? Me? Meant to check in during lunch but got too busy. I've got a few names on my list, especially from the early vote being spread, but it's early yet.
I'm going to vote to lynch dodint in hopes of it getting things moving.

I'm happy to lynch Doc and let PFiDC off the hook for now since that majority is likely impossible now. At least PFiDC says something.

Re: *** Akallabêth ... Game Thread ***
So I should have just let the bandwagon roll on the angel and just chalk it up to "Oh well!!"? That's ridiculous. Takes the wind out of the game? It's a role claim by a green RP with a bandwagon on them. It's the smart play. Either let the village lose it's angel (a guaranteed to live through the night good guy) or claim my role and lynch someone else.dodint wrote:Philosophically even if you are the Angel that really kind of takes the wind out of some of the game. Whoops. I edited the above count instead of quoting it. I hate it when that happens.
Current count:
6 - dodint (SDD, PFIDC, BigMcK, shafnutz, Crankshaft, tfrizz)
3 - DocEmrick (Zarovich, MalkinIsMyHomeboy, dodint)
1 - Crankshaft (Gaucho)
1 - Zarovich (CBear3)
9 to kill.

You said it takes the wind out of some of the game like I made the game worse by role claiming. If role claiming makes the game worse than it should be outlawed. The reason it hasn't is because it's part of the game.

This line of thinking has never saved a blue from being lynched day 1. I know because I've used it.
If this is what you're going to use to defend yourself and try to put the heat back on the (alleged) angel, why aren't you dead yet?

And the village can afford to lose a blue in the first night/day cycle. It happens literally every game.
Would be much worse to lose a blue and a green, if PFIDC is the angel.

I have enough satisfaction in knowing that I'm right. What else would a blue say? It's not me or him, it's me or anybody. I'm giving as much fact as I can before I get hung to show how 'dumb' the vote is.
The village already lost a blue, I'd be the second. If you're okay with that, cool. Should make voting easier for others down the line.

On second thought, I would rather have dodint around who is actually going to participate, this definitely feels like one of those Doc shows up four days into the game kind of games.

If you are a blue, the only person who knows that for a fact is you.
We don't have to take your word for it.
Again, I've been in your shoes plenty of times. It's better if you just accept it and quit whining about how "dumb" it is to kill a blue on Day 1, since it happens literally EVERY. SINGLE. GAME.
