Chelsea collapsing at the end of the half. Could Tottenham actually beat Chelsea?

To explain to the non-Premier League followers (just to help give context, not saying you follow or not, columbiacolumbia wrote:What's happening here?

Chelsea's the #1 team, and is currently in a 2-team race for the title of the league. From top to bottom, they're perceived as much better than most of the teams, only being rivaled by one other (Manchester City). Tottenham, meanwhile, is a constantly underachieving team. They spent a lot of money, but have not gotten any results to come with it. They're a team filled with a bunch of pretty good players, but nothing on the level of Chelsea (IMO).
Yet, they're completely dominating Chelsea, with two goals at the end of the first half and an early goal in the 2nd. Their young forward/striker (Kane) has been playing really, really well.
And there's one back for Chelsea.

I guess I was expressing my shock at the score.

Yeah, I figured. Was just trying to explain in case anyone stumbled upon it - not a lot of soccer watchers on the board.
Kane has 13 goals this season, but only five in the Premier League games. Huh. Wonder if he'll keep this up through the rest of the season. Tottenham becomes a much scarier team with a dangerous striker.

I'm impressed with Fabregas's 14 assists so far. They said the record is 20 for a season. He's well on pace to break that.

This has been an awesome game...other than the fact that I decided not to start Kane on my fantasy team.

I'm reading Gerrard is likely leaving EPL at the end of the season and coming to MLS.

Gerrard coming to the Galaxy, I read people on a forum saying that Gerrard isn't good as Donovan. Lol WHAT.

Re: LGP Futbol Thread - (CL, EPL, Serie A, Liga, 2016 Euros)
Well, it's obviously wrong to say that Donovan, considering his career as a whole in a vacuum, is better than Gerrard. However, I think it's legitimate to wonder if Gerrard at this point in his career can be as effective in MLS as Donovan was the past couple years. There have been plenty of big name players who come to MLS in their 30s and end up being pretty ineffective. Donovan had 10 goals and 19 assists last year. That's a lot for a 34-year-old Gerrard to match.SolidSnake wrote:Gerrard coming to the Galaxy, I read people on a forum saying that Gerrard isn't good as Donovan. Lol WHAT.

Was just about to write about Everton being so much worse this year, and how surprised I was at it. Being knocked out by a West Ham that's improved, to be sure, but still worse than Everton IMO.
That goal sorta changes things, though.
