Ok, I'm through season 2... holy crap, that's how you do a finale. The last two episodes were pretty incredible. Maybe the best action scenes I've ever seen on a tv show.
My only gripe

I'm only halfway through Flash vs Arrow... the first half of it seemed very solid to me though.

I'm caught up on arrow now. Not really digging season 3 as much as season 2. The Oliver/Felicity stuff seems really forced. The crossover was cool, though. And the last episode before the break was really good. Easily the best of the season so far.

I can buy into the Oliver/Felicity stuff, mainly because I think Felicity is awesome. Arrow definitely hasn't been as good this season, but I think that's primarily because season 2 was just too damn good. I've enjoyed The Flash more than Arrow this season.Froggy wrote:I'm caught up on arrow now. Not really digging season 3 as much as season 2. The Oliver/Felicity stuff seems really forced. i think i would buy it more if oliver wasn't banging literally every female who comes into his life. to suddenly think he's in love really doesn't ring true for meDickie Dunn wrote:I can buy into the Oliver/Felicity stuff, mainly because I think Felicity is awesome. Re: Arrow/Flash Thread (not sponsored by anyone)
We are on s3e5 and stopped to watch some Flash.
How does this whole crossover thing work? When should we watch Arrow and when should we watch Flash? I just want to know if watching one over the other will spoil anything.

There's no real overlap until the crossover episode, and at that point watch The Flash before Arrow.PensFanInDC wrote:We are on s3e5 and stopped to watch some Flash.

Re: Arrow/Flash Thread (not sponsored by anyone)
And when is that? As in which Arrow episode should we stop on? And then does it go Arrow/Flash/Arrow/Flash? Or are all the crossover episodes Arrow?

I don't know where to check...but I watched the wrong one first and it became clear pretty quickly that I needed to stop and watch the other one. I think its Flash that you need to watch first.PensFanInDC wrote:We are on s3e5 and stopped to watch some Flash.

I remember when I caught up on Buffy/Angel I found a website that had the order for all of them...it was pretty nice.

Yeah, watch the Flash episode first. It airs before Arrow.

Arrow S1E1 - Just started on Netflix tonight with my son.
Great production. I'm assuming it stays good since it has its own thread.
Now you're telling me I have to watch Flash too?!?
Oh boy. Binge watching time.

Re: Arrow/Flash Thread (not sponsored by anyone)
Ha, I got my wife to watch Arrow and then the Flash up to the current episode(s). We rarely watch the same shows, so this was a big feat. Now, I'll have to wait for her to wade through the crap shows she normally watches to watch Arrow and Flash together.

When should I introduce Flash to the mix?

Re: Arrow/Flash Thread (not sponsored by anyone)
I think along the same time you start watching the current (3rd) season of Arrow. That's when the Flash started.

Re: Arrow/Flash Thread (not sponsored by anyone)
I'm still confused by it.blackjack68 wrote:When should I introduce Flash to the mix?
So I should watch Arrow up until the crossover episode and then I should watch The Flash...until when? Is there a Flash episode I should stop on, watch the rest of s3 of Arrow (up to date) and then continue with Flash? Is the crossover only on Arrow or is it on Flash too?
Should we watch the first crossover Arrow, and then crossover Flash, and then Arrow, etc?
I just want the best possible viewing experience.

Re: Arrow/Flash Thread (not sponsored by anyone)
The Flash airs on Tuesday. Arrow airs on Wednesday. Watch The Flash before Arrow. With S3 I stopped binge watching a single show and just alternate The Flash, Arrow, The Flash, Arrow, etc. You can binge watch one or the other, up until the crossover episodes. At that point be completely caught up on both shows and watch The Flash and then Arrow.

Re: Arrow/Flash Thread (not sponsored by anyone)
Ok...I think I got it now. We will watch Arrow until the crossover episode, then we will watch Flash until the crossover episode, and then we will alternate...
Is that correct?
