Former co-workers were obsessed with that show. Love when they go into stores with the surprise shopping lists. Eye watering funny.44windmill wrote:I know they're not stand up, but Impractical Jokers is a hilarious show. They also have a travelling troupe called The Tenderloins. Never heard them perform. Has anybody else?

We got an Improv gift card with 2 free passes, so I guess I'll ask in this thread. Any good comics coming to the Improv? The only name I recognize on the schedule between now and May is Greg Warren.

Artie Lange is going to be there in March, he's fun. John Heffron, Bill Bellamy and Tommy Davidson are all okay.

We are borderline obsessed as well. My favorite is when Murr had to get novocaine in his mouth then give a speech on food. Seriously wiped tears from my eyes the entire time.tifosi77 wrote:Former co-workers were obsessed with that show. Love when they go into stores with the surprise shopping lists. They're coming to Pittsburgh February 20th. I'm contemplating getting tickets, but I don't know if their show translates well into a comedy tour.

I had never heard of Impractical Jokers before. Watching an episode now in a grocery store and I'm losing it...

Re: Stand up comedy thread
I saw the Bill Burr Netflix special and he was very funny. Though, at times his setups would go on for a while (I remember the robber one specifically, that one took forever) but overall he was really good

Louis C.K. releases new stand-up special and a free preview
I will pretty much watch everything he does, so, yeah.As he is wont to do, man of the people Louis C.K. just released his latest comedy special, Live At The Comedy Store, for his preferred price of $5 via his website. C.K.’s method of direct salesmanship has proved both lucrative and popular (although apparently not with people who comment on YouTube videos). The new special is a collection of material C.K. developed in comedy clubs over the past year, and the small Comedy Store setting was chosen for that more intimate vibe.

Re: Stand up comedy thread
He was on Last Comic Standing. He made it to the final 3 I believe, and honestly I didn't think he was that funny. He was OK at times, but I think his looks did him more good than his comedy. If it were a free show, I'd go, but I wouldn't pay for it.Letang Is The Truth wrote:whats up with lachlan patterson? got a call from the improv i can get free tickets tis weekend
