Second round voting is now open. Things went pretty much according to form, with the exception of Tropicalia being knocked off, most likely due to lack of distribution. I also moved Idle Hands even though it was tied with Westbrook due to it's superior BA rating. Some interesting battles in this round: DFH 90 against Dirtwolf, both of which won easily and got a ton of votes; Chillwave against Two Hearted; and Stone against Stone. Same as last time, voting will be open for about a week.

I haven't had heady topper yet, but flower power is one of my favorites, this makes for a tough decision....

I've had them both, but I think what separates Heady Topper from any other IPA is uniqueness. It's one of the reasons I voted Le Freak, and it's why I'll continue to vote Heady Topper. I've never had anything like it, as there may not be anything out there like it.

And... we're already down to exactly one matchup where I've tried both beers.

Going with Heady Topper, Sculpin, and Enjoy By. Going to have Two Hearted again before voting on that one.

Kraft, youve never had an Enjoy By or Ruination? I am stunned.

The Enjoy By is kind of cheating since its a different beer every time, but so tasty.

Enjoy By
Sculpin

I though founders centennial would beat chillwave, but I've never had the Chillwave so I can't really say

I've only been drinking IPAs intently for about a year now. Couple that with my questing for hard-to-find stuff, and I guess that's how Stone just hasn't found a place on my radar. I've had a few of their collab line--woot stout, cherry smoke saison, grapefruit something or other--but it may be the case that I've never had a Stone flagship/other popular brews.

I've only had two of the Enjoy By's and they were both sensational, and seemed very similar. Is it a different brewing formula each time?

Chillwave is exceptional. I like it quite a bit more than Centennial.

I'll have to try Chillwave, then. Are they similar at all? I've only had Centennial once, but the fruits in that one really stuck out to me

Centennial has more malt to it than Chillwave. Chillwave is crisper and more citrusy to me.

Agreed on MWB's tasting notes on the two. I'm not a big Centennial fan.

also agree. Centennial isn't my favorite. Chillwave is really special. A tropical explosion. Now if it will hurry up and distribute, I'd like to buy a case.

Two Hearted is very good. It's similar to All Day in that it seems like more of a sessionable beer than Chillwave. Just doesn't have quite the depth of flavor that Chillwave has.
