Sid gets the ENG with a sweet play.
He might get another chance at one for the HT.

If Jarry didn’t already have an NHL goal I think he risks it there up 2.

Weird that smashing your stick and then throwing your glove at another player (prob accidentally) doesn’t get you a penalty. Don’t really care but it’s a bad look for a pro.

Jarry has to get the first star for actually having a very good game.

Yup. Unfortunate they won but if they win and Sid gets multiple points then it's all good. 2 points makes up for last game and helps keep that pace. Every game down where he gets at least 1 makes it more and more likely he holds out.

That is the NHL. Imagine the stick breaks and flies into Sid’s face. It is reckless. Should be a penalty.

Yeah exactly what I was thinking too. Sid came right around the net as the dude was swinging too. Kinda like an inadvertent high stick still gets called.

Bemstrom with 6 minutes. Imama with less than 4. Sully played this game with 10 forwards basically.

We have a million bottom 6 forwards in WBS and Heinen scratched. Bring up players you’re actually going to play.

Jarry won them this game. Good to see him play well. It’s been a while since the Pens have gotten goaltending like that.

This is baffling. Dubas and Sully aren't on the same page

Novak and Dewar 12 mins each, Timmins lowest TOI of defencemen, 11 mins.

The Wild getting so many PP opportunties schewed the numbers I imagine.

I never thought I would see Ryan Shea get almost 25 minutes of ice time in a regulation game. That is something.

I don’t want Jarry winning them games! That really doesn’t help the Penguins. They’re not making the playoffs.

Dewar will be 4th liner mostly anyway and PK guy..

Novak got injured, lower body injury and didnt return :face:

About Jarry - yeah ,good game from him..looked more composed than ever before this season. Let him have good finish to season to up his trade value and ship him out somewhere.

If only that would be possible for Graves.. lol

Novak looked like he really wanted to go above and beyond... shame

Jarry I don't think is tradable. Even if he's fine to excellent to the end of the season. Other GMs aren't blind and nobody wanted anything to do with him when he was on waivers.

Next season two retention spots open, so we should use them on 2 out of EK, Jarry or Graves

In an otherwise forgettable season, it’s nice to know Sid still has a sense of humor to go with his still pretty amazing play.

Following the game, Crosby was able to quickly recount each of the three career goals that he has scored on Fleury.
“Yeah, that’s three. I scored one on him in Vegas when he was there. One on him last year here, and (today) was my third,” Crosby said. “Given that was my last game against him, I will remind him of that one many times.”
For his part, Flower took it with humor despite the loss
"Oh my God. Anyone but (Sid and Geno). I feel like I'm going to hear about this for a long time. Sid is still talking about his goal in juniors.”

You know... Karlsson would be so much better if we had a pair of Dumoulin types on the team. And no Letang. I've become convinced you can't have both Letang and Karlsson play such a double edged (and sometimes outright stupid) game. But you can have one

Not entirely convinced anymore Karlsson is the heart of the problem, so much as the supporting cast around him cannot fill in the blanks.

I agree we dont need two of EK type of D.. but he is problem many times with his blackout passes to opponents sticks and lazy efforts on defensive tasks. Any partner of his will have issues on D.
